The Heartbeat of the Movement: Meet Watson Tunez
You do not have to do this journey alone. My name is Watson Tunez, and I am a humanitarian hip-hop and pop-rap recording artist. But before the music, my story started in a very different place.
I was an orphan on the Caribbean island of Haiti, dying of malnourishment with less than a month to live. I was rescued by a missionary and eventually adopted by my dad, Charlie George, coming to the United States at six years old without knowing a lick of English. Music became my gateway to learning the language and understanding the culture.
Because a missionary and my adoptive parents refused to be bystanders, my life was saved. Now, I am using my music to activate the humanitarian spirit in others. The music I make is full of positivity—designed to uplift, empower, and encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and make a tangible difference.
